Pampering Yourself is Doing What Friends Do for Each Other

My mother and I used to bake each other brownies when we would go to visit in the other’s home. I miss that. I think we had a silent pact that brownie calories didn’t count if someone else baked them. I have learned to do for myself what others who have passed from this earth used to do for me. I love brownies. Now I bake them for myself. And they still don’t have any calories.
