“It is the courage to be open and loving which is the manifestation of underlying strength and power. And it is only in embracing the possibility that you have a Higher Self that knows how to love, that knows truth within, that is truly powerful, that you can begin to face and dismantle the false beliefs of the protected self, the ego. You can’t begin to look at these and deal with them if you don’t believe there’s anything else. You can never move into the feeling of personal power until you recognize truly that there’s a peaceful place within you that is already there, that doesn’t have to be fixed.” Jordan and Margaret Paul
Having a home group in recovery gives us a place to feel safe and to grow. Other groups can be added to this group. Online addiction/mental health groups offer additional ways to learn and accept ourselves. The first journey for recovery is learning to trust. This can only be done in a group.
You can create your own Facebook grow group using the content provided in my new blog, Addiction Recovery has Many Paths. The new blog will be published Friday, March 29th and is a treasure trove for the following topics:
Childhood–Discover You–Emerging Voices–Emotional Sobriety–Helping Others—Innovative Recovery–Lifelines–Relationships–Your Tribe
Each of these topics will be explained on the main site when it is published. The content portion for these 9 topics will be on a members only portion of the site. There will be a $10.00 charge for the members only section. So your group members can join the members only portion and you will all have access to the same information content which will be discussed in your group.
I will also be providing information about Facebook groups that will be useful for managing and maintaining a Facebook group. I will also be available for hire if you would like guidance into the management of a Facebook group or how to set up a subscription site to include your Facebook group.
