The veiled criticism, is my especiality! How awful! Everyday I work on it, but it is a struggle, especially when I speak with my ex. I want him to know how his bad choices have screwed up his life and made him so miserable. But, he is already well aware of it, and it is not my job to remind him every time I talk to him. Since I have been making an effort to not be so vicious under the pretense of trying to help, my conversations with him have actually been pleasant. I know he has his regrets, and so do I, but, I need to move forward and be happy and not mired in the past and bitterness. I am sorry for your loss, and so happy for your wonderful birthday!
